Behold a humble train,
the courts of God draw near;
a Virgin Mother and her Babe
before the Lord appear.

O wondrous, bless??d sight!
To faithful eyes made known,
that lowly Babe--the mighty God,
the Prince of Peace, they own.

And now this temple shines
with glory far more bright
than e'er the former temple saw,
e'en at its greatest height.

The cloud indeed was there,
the symbol of the Lord;
but here the Lord himself appears,
the true, incarnate Word.

Blest Savior, come once more
with power and grace divine;
our hearts thy living temple make,
wholly and ever thine.

Вот скромный поезд ,
суды Божии приблизиться ;
Дева Мать и ее детка
до появления Господь .

О дивный , благослови ? Г зрелище!
Для верных глазами известны ,
что смирен Babe - Бог крепкий ,
Князь мира , они владеют .

И теперь этот храм сияет
славой гораздо более ярко
чем e'er бывший храм увидел ,
e'en на своей наибольшей высоты .

Облако действительно был там,
символ Господа ;
но здесь появляется сам Господь ,
правда, воплощенное Слово .

Блажен Спаситель , пришел еще раз
с силой и благодатью божественного ;
наши сердца твой живой храм сделать ,
целиком и никогда твое.
