Было время, когда людьми правили сила и меч. В те далёкие дни Римская Империя была самым сильным и многочисленным врагом свободных людей. Покорив полмира, Рим продолжал расширять свои владения. В начале V столетия римский флот, посланный кесарем Августом, подошёл к полуострову ЮТЛАНДИЯ. Селение викингов было первым, что повстречали римляне на новой земле. Предложив северянам признать власть империи, римляне получили твёрдый отказ. Но позднее, вернувшись из похода, вместо родного селения викинги увидели выжженную землю и римский штандарт. И, стоя на пепелище среди мёртвых тел жён и детей, викинги поняли, что даже после смерти их уделом будет МЕСТЬ.

Сердца стук, сырой туман
Разрушен очаг и выжжен край
И сотни крепких рук сжимают сталь -
Заплатит враг за потерянный рай.
А кровь родной земли, что пролил враг
Осталась нам, и след палачей
Уже горят огни, и реет стяг
Гудят рога трёх сотен мечей.

Забыв покой, наши боги не спят
Они не помнят страх, оставив кров
Повергнут строй римских идолов вспять.

There was a time when people power and ruled the sword. In those early days of the Roman Empire was the most powerful and numerous enemies of free people.
