My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I lov'd, I loved alone.
Then--in my childhood--in the dawn
Of a most stormy life--was drawn
From ev'ry depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, or the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that 'round me roll'd
In its autumn tint of gold--
From the lightning in the sky
As it pass'd me flying by--
From the thunder and the storm,
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.

С час детстве , я не был
 Как другие были - я не видел
 Как другие видели - я не мог принести
 Мои увлечения от общей весной .
 Из этого же источника я не взял
 Печаль моя , я не мог пробудить
 Мое сердце в радости и в то же тоном ;
 И все, что я lov'd , я любил в одиночестве.
 Тогда - в детстве - на рассвете
 Из наиболее бурной жизни - было обращено
 От ev'ry глубине хорошо и плохо
 Тайна , которая связывает меня еще :
 С торрента или фонтана ,
 Из красной скале горы ,
 От солнца , что 'вокруг меня roll'd
 В его осенней оттенком золота -
 От молнии в небе
 Как pass'd меня летать -
 От грома и бури,
 И облако , что приняло форму
 ( Когда остальная часть Неба был синий)
 Из демона , на мой взгляд .
